About bpas

bpas is the leading provider of abortions in the UK and celebrates its 40th anniversary this year. We have a national network of 18 clinics and 35 centres across England, Wales and Scotland. In addition to abortion services we also provide emergency contraception, free pregnancy testing and vasectomy services.

Last year, bpas supported more than 70,000 women who found themselves dealing with unplanned pregnancy.

bpas has contracts with over 70% of NHS Primary Care Trusts to provide abortion services. In many cases it also has contracts for the provision of central booking services.
